Robert Bowen
Thisp project is a small extension to a 60s bungalow in a coastal holiday town. The design attempts to create a contemporary home which still holds true the unpretentious character of the area. Homes here are humble and furnished with hand-me-downs and mis-matched thrift store purchases. They are often decorated by washed up buoys. This extension tries to hang onto the character of the 60s original bungalows of the area. Detailing is kept simple and evident while materials are tradtional. The existing and distinctive water tanks are celebrated.
